The Shippensburg Corn Festival provides funding from our profits each year to projects that meet the following criteria: To aid in funding historic preservation projects and/or the beautification and/or betterment of the community of Shippensburg.
The committee could not fund every request, but based on our profit from our 2022 Shippensburg Corn Festival, the committee providing the following funds:
- $1200 Ship Kids Event Committee for beautification of the Gazebo
- $3000 DOIT for Shade Trees
- $1000 Ship Garden Committee for flowers
- $1672 Christ Among Neighbors for assistance with food, rent, etc
- $1000 Ship Garden Committee for flowers
- $3000 DOIT for Shade Trees
The committee also has pledged $30,000 over the next 3 years towards the proposed stage at Library Square.
