Policies and Rules

All final decisions regarding all Shippensburg Corn Festival Vendors, Events or Activities and Operations will be made by the Shippensburg Corn Festival Board and Committee Chairs.

No pets, except service animals and properly identified service animals-in-training will be allowed anywhere on the festival area. Arrangements for service animals must be made in advance and approved by the safety/security personnel.

The right is reserved to inspect at any time vendor areas, displays, and entertainment area at the Shippensburg Corn Festival (AKA SCF).

Vendors and volunteers over 18 years of age grant permission to the Shippensburg Corn Festival Board to use their name, likeness, voice and words in television, radio, films, newspapers, magazines and other media and in any form not heretofore described for the lawful purpose and activities of the Shippensburg Corn Festival. Vendors and volunteers understand that they will not receive any compensation for the use of their name or likeness.

GENERAL GUIDELINES AND RULES

These rules apply to all Vendors, Guests, Volunteers, Entertainers, and Activities at the Shippensburg Corn Festival. All Vendors, Guests, Volunteers, and Entertainers must read and agree to abide by these general rules.

  1. The Shippensburg Corn Festival will not be responsible for any loss, damage or accident that may occur to any person, article or vehicle, but will take every reasonable precaution to safeguard same.
  2. No loitering on the SCF Property while the Shippensburg Corn Festival is in operation.
  3. No solicitation allowed on the SCF Property while the Shippensburg Corn Festival is in operation.
  4. No fighting is allowed on the SCF Property at any time while the Shippensburg Corn Festival is in operation. Those involved will be escorted off the SCF Property and will not be permitted back on the property for the rest of the Shippensburg Corn Festival. Repeat offenders will be arrested for trespassing.
  5. No bicycles, razor scooters, or skateboards are permitted on the SCF Property while the Shippensburg Corn Festival is in operation. The Shippensburg Corn Festival is not responsible for any bicycle brought to the SCF Property.
  6. No alcohol of any kind is permitted on the SCF Property, except what is displayed by an approved vendor at the Shippensburg Corn Festival. Only samples can be consumed by Guests that are 21 years of age or older. Any alcohol purchased at the Shippensburg Corn Festival needs to be kept unopened and removed from the property by the end of the Shippensburg Corn Festival event.
  7. No trespassing is permitted in the festival area while the festival is not in operation but vendors are setting up or tearing down their locations.
  8. No parking is permitted in areas unauthorized on the festival location during the Shippensburg Corn Festival unless preapproved by the Shippensburg Corn Festival Board. Violators will be towed at the owner’s expense.
  9. No running or horseplay is permitted on the festival location while the Shippensburg Corn Festival is in operation.
  10. No firearms, knives, clubs or other weapons are allowed on the SCF location with the exception of authorized law enforcement personnel or approved vendor while the Shippensburg Corn Festival is in operation.
  11. Any violation of the above rules will results in an expulsion from the 2022 Shippensburg Corn Festival. If an individual violates Pennsylvania State Law, the proper law enforcement agency will be contacted. Any decision for expulsion will be made by the Security and the Shippensburg Corn Festival Board. Any decision of this panel is final.
